Youth and Play Services including Positive Activities

At HARV we understand that when there is chaos at home that children often do not get the same opportunities. The youth service provides weekly positive activities for young people between the ages of 11 and 18.

Every week young people can access different activities:

Tuesday Evenings: Ribble Valley Youth Group

The group meets in the Ribble Valley weekly, every week the youth workers will deliver social education sessions related to  the issues surrounding young people. Once a month the group will go on a positive activity, this will include horse riding, mountain biking, go karting, raft building etc.

Wednesday Evening: Hyndburn Youth Group

The group meets in Accrington every week, around 20 young people attend weekly. Every week the youth workers will deliver social education sessions related to  the issues surrounding young people. Once a month the group will go on a positive activity, this will include horse riding, mountain biking, go karting, raft building etc.

Thursday Day: Drop In…Accrington

The drop in provides young people with the opportunity to hang out and play games / pool. Youth workers are available to chat with and support young people.
